Hi, I'mYannik.

I discovered DJing in my late teens in Germany. What started as a love for music quickly turned into hosting events and playing for crowds. I spent years learning how to read a room, how to build energy, and how to make people feel something through music. That foundation is still the core of everything I do.

I'm also a music producer. I've spent over a decade producing electronic and house music. That changes how I hear a set. I don't think of a wedding as a playlist. I think of it as one piece of music with an arc. It starts quietly, it builds, it peaks, and it winds down. Every song earns its place.

I moved to Australia with my wife Tui, who is from New Zealand. We settled in Brisbane and I built Dream Connective here. Most of my work is across South East Queensland, from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Ipswich, the Scenic Rim and Northern NSW. 

I'm a deeply feeling person and that shows in my work. I care about the experience my clients have, not just on the night, but through every conversation and every touchpoint along the way. I'm also a dad. Being a present father is what drives me to build this business the way I do. I want Dream Connective to reflect who I am. Warm, genuine, and always giving people the best I've got.

When you book me, you get someone who takes the time to know you. I build a set plan based on our conversations and your music taste. I create a timeline with you and your planner covering every transition. I contact the venue beforehand to understand the space. And on the day, I show up early, stay calm, and pay attention to what's happening in the room. That's the job.
